Looe Island, also known as St George's Island, is a charming little spot just off the coast of Looe in Cornwall, UK. Once owned by two sisters who generously gifted it to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, this 22.5-acre island is a haven for nature lovers. With its mild climate, wooded areas, and rich history including a Benedictine chapel, it's a perfect getaway for day visitors or those looking for a unique wedding venue. You can even stay overnight in a teepee after tying the knot! Accessible by boat or a rocky sea floor walk at low tide, Looe Island is a gem worth exploring.
