The Nagasaka Gondola at Nozawa Onsen really needs no introduction when it comes to winter skiing - it's a must for snow lovers. But what I really want to share is how incredible it is during the green season, especially if you’re visiting Japan during the hottest months. At the top, you’ll find lush green fields surrounded by forest, perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee or a snack from one of the cozy cafes.

And here’s something fun: you can rent a mountain bike with all the protection gear and ride all the way down! Some of the easiest beginner tracks take you down, mixed with the public road used by cars traveling between the base and the summit. It’s an amazing way to experience the mountain in a completely different season!
