Arashiyama is actually one of my favorite areas in whole of Kyoto because it seamlessly blends nature and culture. You will enjoy one of the most scenic areas of Kyoto, discover its historical sites, and of course, dive into its delicious restaurant scene, of which Arashiyama has a lot. It also has its share of tourist trap restaurants (with good google review, so be extra careful), so I'm here to give you some solid recommendations. Your visit will be a memorable experience from start to finish! And remember, there's no need to rush – take your time to enjoy and engage in activities that pique your interest.

Notes about restaurants:
Everyone will be going through this route with their own pace (someone might spend in the park 15 minutes while someone will be there for over an hour), so to make things convenient, I've set up all of the recommended restaurants all along the path, so that you could choose one whenever you feel hungry.
