Next to the main hall of Zenkoji Temple, you’ll find a small booth where visitors line up to receive a goshuin—a traditional handwritten seal given at temples and shrines as a sign of worship. But in our case, this is where you’ll collect the 8th and final stamp for your Zenkoji Seven Lucky Gods pilgrimage (Shichifukujin Meguri).

There is one shared line, whether you’re here for a goshuin or your shikishi, and the final stamp costs 200 yen. Just have your shikishi ready and let the attendant know when you reach the front.

Be sure to get here before 4:00 PM, as the booth closes after that.
