Starbucks is probably not on the list of reasons why you want to go to Japan, and to be honest, I would never think I would include any of them here, but sometimes (especially after you have spent a few days trying completely unfamiliar Japanese food), you want something very ordinary and familiar 😅 On top of it, Starbucks in each prefecture has its own signature drink, not to mention some seasonal specialties and unique to Japan souvenirs (cups, bottles, and so on). Even when I was in Uji, this Starbucks had some Uji matcha themed drinks.
