Saga Toriimoto is a serene, historical street filled with beautiful gardens and traditional architecture. This narrow, winding street hosts many shops and restaurants—perfect for taking a leisurely stroll, shopping for some authentic souvenirs, or simply treating yourself to some traditional Japanese cuisine.

One of my most favorite areas to visit because it never gets crowded, it has a couple of my favorite shops and restaurants, and it simply has the most authentic traditional atmosphere that you can get in Arashiyama.
