I only recommend coming to this place if you are a fan of museums. The Nara Buddhist Sculpture Hall is the original building of the museum, which was completed in 1894 (Meiji 27). It houses a breathtaking exhibition of Buddhist sculptures spanning from the Asuka period to the Kamakura period, along with renowned Chinese-style bronzes.

In this building, the exhibition is permanent, while in the neighboring larger and newer building, the exhibitions change constantly. There's an underground passage connecting the two buildings.
