Founded in 1637, this brewery offers not only sake - they also sell my absolute favorite non-alcoholic yuzu amazake (check the second photo šŸ‹). You can sample all drinks here, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
They also have incredible miso, aged for a year and a half - and you can taste it in a bowl of miso soup right there.

On top of that, the brewery has a small museum which you can visit for free. Inside you’ll find old brewing tools and vintage photos of the area and Zenkoji Temple.
