Namba Yasaka Jinja is a must-see shrine located in the heart of the Namba district of Osaka. The unique shrine features a 12-meter-high lion head called the Ema-Den, which has an open mouth that serves as an altar for prayers. Be sure to come here in the springtime to enjoy the cherry blossoms. The shrine gets quite crowded, although it is still quite easy to take a good photo of the Ema-Den because it is so huge.
