From the marina, we took a scenic 40-minute drive to Lewis Falls, bonus points for passing the iconic South Entrance Yellowstone sign along the way and stopping for a photo! (note the sign is on the right hand side and you will need to pull in a few meters before) The falls are super easy to access, making them a perfect stop for families, road-trippers, and casual hikers.

The pull out is on the left if you’re entering from the south. From there, a short, easy trail leads you to the upper viewpoint, where you can watch the water spill over the rocks. Cross the bridge for a different perspective of the river, and keep your eyes peeled, you might spot wildlife hanging out near the landing.
