Nestled in the Waitakere ranges this beautiful multi tiered waterfall with lots of swimming spots is well worth a visit.

The track takes approx 40 mins each way and has recently been redone with an easy to walk boardwalk. The walk is mostly uphill on the way back up but I didn't find it too tricky and there were families with young kids on the track with we went.

Search "UpperCarpark" for fairy falls for the easiest parking spot - see image I've included.
