Scenic beach but dangerous for swimming! Take care if visiting.

further information: Pokohino Beach, located in the Coromandel region, is an idyllic spot for a fun and relaxing day by the sea. It offers travelers stunning views with its secluded golden sands and lovely cave situated on the right side of the beach. To get to this hidden gem, you must take Normans Access Road through a forestry commission area where you'll find a car park at the end. After parking, you'll need to prepare for a 20 minute trek down to the beach, so it's best to come prepared with proper footwear and supplies. The journey is worth it when you finally arrive and can enjoy the solitude and tranquility of the spot. Whether you're looking for a romantic stroll or an afternoon of adventure, Pokohino Beach is the perfect destination.
