2-3 hour loop track to this lighthouse

Baring Head Lighthouse, constructed in 1935 and fully automated in 1989, is a concrete lighthouse located at Baring Head in the Wellington Region of the North Island of New Zealand. Standing 12.2 meters tall with a range of 10 nautical miles (19 km; 12 mi), its white tower with greenish lantern dome and LED beacon powered by mains electricity make it an impressive sight! The lighthouse is accessible via walking tracks in the southern area of the East Harbour Regional Park, south of Wainuiomata. Visit this iconic symbol of hope and safety in New Zealand today!
