Hunua Ranges Regional Park is a popular spot for outdoor recreation near Drury, Auckland. The Wairoa Loop Track and Suspension Bridge Track offers a 4.5-mile loop that is generally considered moderately challenging, with an elevation gain of 1,190 feet. It's a well-maintained track used for walking and running with a good mix of flat ground, steep stairs, forest small hills, and beautiful lookouts dotted along the way. Dogs are welcome on leash. This trail offers stunning views of the surrounding nature, including lush rain forests, tranquil lakes, and distant mountains. With its scenic surroundings and wide variety of attractions, Hunua Ranges Regional Park is guaranteed to make any trip an unforgettable experience.
