Mangawhai Cliffs Walkway is a must-see for those looking to experience the beauty of Northland. Taking roughly two to three hours, this moderate walk allows visitors to take in breathtaking coastal views stretching from Bream Head to Tāwharanui Peninsula. From the beach the track climbs steeply up to a lookout point before winding past ancient pōhutukawa and descending to the stony beach below. Be sure to check the tide schedule before setting off! With plenty of wildlife such as wasps, New Zealand pigeons and the occasional whale and shark sighting, Mangawhai Cliffs Walkway will ensure an unforgettable adventure.
