Park at the bottom and wander up, it's not far!

Baldwin Street, Dunedin, New Zealand has been reinstated as the world’s steepest street by Guinness World Records. An investigation into the battle between Baldwin Street and Ffordd Pen Llech in Harlech, Wales was conducted and it concluded that for the world’s steepest street record title, the gradient should be measured from its central axis or centre line of the road. Measurement provided by a local, national or international measurement professional is now accepted and thoroughfares connecting other roads are also considered destinations. Thanks to the dedicated appeals team led by Toby Stoff, Baldwin Street made sure their claim was heard and now stands as the steepest street with a gradient of 34.8%, taking this amazing title back to New Zealand!
