The Cowans Hill Walkway is a popular easy hiking, mountain biking, and running trail situated near Tekapo, Canterbury in New Zealand. This 3.9-mile out-and-back trail is a great way to explore new terrain and experience stunning vistas of the lake and mountains. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash. The end of the trail takes hikers atop the hill for unbeatabale views of the surrounding area. This is a perfect opportunity to take some pictures and rest before heading down. The lake side path is especially beautiful and makes for an enjoyable loop for the hike back to the Church of the Good Shepherd. Don't miss out on this scenic landscape!
