Really neat pancake rock formations that can only be accessed from the water. Do a kayak tour to visit them!

Raglan's Pancake Rocks provide a one-of-a-kind experience for outdoor adventurers! Located south of Auckland, the amazing layered rock formations are best enjoyed by paddleboard or kayak. On a windless day, leave from Putoetoe Point and make your way west across the harbour to view the first set of rocky pancakes. From there, explore the coastline until reaching Marotaka Point. Those looking for more adventure can continue towards Horongarara before crossing the inlet towards another set of pancake rocks on the western side of Tokatoka Point. Paddleboarders and kayakers alike will enjoy the journey while soaking up the summer sun and natural beauty of Raglan.
