Waterfall where seals play at the bottom. Was closed due to a landslip on the path last time I visited so please keep this in mind.

Ohau Falls is a stunning 25-30m waterfall situated in Kaikoura District, South Island, New Zealand. It is one of the best spots to get up close with nature and witness some amazing wildlife! The Ohau Stream leads you to the falls, providing some welcome shade from the sun on a warm day. Once there, visitors may be lucky enough to spot some New Zealand fur seals swimming near the plunge pool and base of the waterfalls. In addition to Ohau Falls, visitors can also explore the area’s coastal rainforest, mountain sides, and crystal blue waters. With its delightful mix of nature and wildlife, Ohau Falls promises an unforgettable experience for any traveler.
