Unique! Work a walk around this quirky area!
The Art Centre & Gallery itself costs to enter, however you can visit the famous Toilets for free. (Its worth it trust me!)

The Hundertwasser Art Centre and Wairau Māori Art Gallery in Whangārei, New Zealand, is a vibrant hub celebrating contemporary Māori art alongside the unique vision of Friedensreich Hundertwasser. The gallery showcases the finest examples of indigenous art, promoting and enhancing Te Ao Māori while honoring the diverse cultural identity of Aotearoa. With a focus on intergenerational learning and showcasing nationally and internationally acclaimed Māori artists, this dedicated space embodies the spirit of creativity and cultural expression.

The Hundertwasser Art Centre is open seven days a week, between 10 am and 4 pm.
