Located in the Canton of Uri. Drive to Sisikon, then take the narrow road to the cable car Chäppeliberg—Spilau.

The cable car runs every half hour until 19:00 in July and August through mid-September. You can also hike back down.

One way: 10 CHF. Return: 16 CHF; no discounts.

The cable car can be operated from either the bottom or top station.

I originally visited Spilauersee. Lidernenhütte is just a 15-minute walk from the cable car station.
