Park your car here in Wangs—6 CHF for the whole day.

You’ll need the 5-Lake Trail ticket, which costs 54 CHF at the time of writing. You start by taking a cable car and then two chairlifts. It takes around 45 minutes. The hike starts at Pizolhütte (2227m). The trail ends at Gaffia, where you catch the chairlift back to Wangs.

This is a popular hike—you won't be alone on the trail. Expect three steep ascents and descents if you want to complete the hike. Alternatively, hike to the first two lakes (Wildsee and Schottensee) and return—I'd choose this option next time. This shorter version takes around three hours.
