Cheam Peak – Chilliwack Valley, BC
Cheam Peak (also known locally as Mount Cheam) is an iconic pyramidal summit in the Cheam Range, offering jaw-dropping panoramic views of the Fraser Valley, North Cascades, and its dramatic neighboring peaks, including Lady Peak. Trailhead & Route:
The hike starts at the end of Chipmunk Creek FSR, reached via ~11 km of rough gravel — a high-clearance 4×4 is needed From the parking area, the trail begins with a flat section across alpine meadows, offering early glimpses of Mount Baker and Lady Peak . It then steepens through switchbacks and gains elevation steadily until it reaches the rocky summit ridge at ~2,112 m .

Summit ridge offers 360° views: look north to the Fraser Valley, east to Mount Baker, south to Lady Peak, and west to Jones and Christina Lakes.
