Trailhead & Route:
Start from the Cypress Mountain downhill ski area parking. The trail begins near the Crazy Raven Bar & Grill, quickly entering forest. Follow trail signs for the Howe Sound Crest Trail to the Bowen Lookout junction. A steep and short switchback section leads to the open viewpoint notch. Return the same way or extend via the Yew Lake loop (~1.8 km extra).
