Trailhead & Route:

Follow trail signs for the Howe Sound Crest Trail to the Bowen Lookout junction. A steep and short switchback section leads to the open viewpoint notch. Return the same way or extend via the Yew Lake loop (~1.8 km extra).

• Forest loop extension: small lakeside trail that adds a quiet detour on the return leg.
