Mount Crumpit – Squamish, BC
Mount Crumpit is a scenic yet often-overlooked summit offering spectacular views of the Stawamus Chief, Howe Sound, and Mamquam Mountain. Trailhead & Route:
The trail begins in Valleycliffe off Cherry Drive. You’ll follow the wide S&M Connector and Fartherside Trail through forest before branching onto the steeper Woodpecker Trail. A viewpoint offshoot—“Lacking Head Viewpoint”—offers great early views, and the main summit scramble (locally called “Stairway to Heaven”) leads to expansive ridgeline overlooks. Return along a loop via Woodpecker and back to connector trails.
