Pihlajavesi Wilderness Church is one of those magical places where you feel like you've stepped back in time. Tucked deep in the forest near Keuruu, this beautiful 18th-century wooden church sits all alone by a peaceful lake, far from any village or town. It’s one of the last remaining wilderness churches in Finland – built to serve isolated communities back when traveling to church could take days.
