Eagle Plains is a great stop along the Dempster Highway where visitors can take a break, refuel, and do some laundry. Situated in unspoiled wilderness, it's only an hour away from the Arctic Circle. Although small, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the area by exploring its natural landscapes, such as the Eagle River, plus local First Nations culture at cultural centres and festivals that offer a warm welcome. Cold weather stops won't disappoint as Eagle Plains is well placed for Razorback Mountain adventures, ice fishing, camping, motorcycling, and experiencing Ivvavik National Park.
