Lupine Trail 2 Park is a popular spot for hikers, runners, and mountain bikers near Crested Butte, Colorado. It's a moderately challenging 7.1-mile out-and-back trail that offers stunning views and plenty of wildflowers, especially lupines in full bloom. Just be prepared to share the trail with other outdoor enthusiasts, including friendly mountain bikers zipping by. Always stay on trail and never trample or pick the wildflowers.

This trail is usually in full bloom mid to late June and one of the best for Lupines in Crested Butte. The first four photos are taken at an S curve on the trail about 0.5 mile up from Lupine 2 TH and is best photographed at sunset. Continue up the trail to a bench found at about 1 mile for sunrise views overlooking Mt CB and Lake Nicholson below a field of lupines.
