Not to be confused with the more popular Blue Lake closer to Ridgway, Blue Lake #1 starts near Bridal Veil falls and climbs towards Lewis Mine. Although the water isn't as blue as others, its lower traffic with cool mining structures around the lake. This is a trail I would wait to hike until it fully thaws for the summer, as attempting in May or earlier, you will cross dangerous avalanche terrain.
