Hello Mallory

AS OF 2024, THE BEAVERS HAVE REBUILT THEIR DAM AND THE POND IS BACK

Park at the picket fence (will be on the right side of the road after you cross into National Forrest) You will see a worn trail directly to the north. Follow this until you see the beaver pond in front and to the left. Its not a far walk, maybe a quarter of a mile? Be careful when walking as there are electric fences in the area.

ESTIMATED HIKE IS IN SECOND PHOTO. You'll also find many people camp where you park. Its a great place to set up if you plan to shoot a few things in this area.

Get a great reflection shot of Sneffels at sunrise or sunset, or even set up here for some astro.
