At the end of the gorge, follow a marked path for about 20 minutes to the Kaiserschmarrn Alm. It’s a hidden gem for traditional Bavarian dishes – the Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) is a must-try! The hut offers a charming alpine atmosphere and warm hospitality.

Hike to Eckbauer
From the Alm, continue hiking up to the Eckbauer summit (approx. 1-1,5 hour, 3 km, 330 m elevation gain). Along the way, you’ll pass through shady woods. At the top, the view over the Wetterstein mountains is breathtaking – a perfect place to pause and take it all in.

Optional Break: Gasthof Eckbauer
The Gasthof Eckbauer is a great place to stop for a drink or a bite to eat with panoramic views. It’s a relaxing spot to soak up the atmosphere.

Descent: By foot or cable car
You can either walk back down or take the Eckbauer cable car for a scenic and easy descent. Both routes bring you back to the starting point near the Olympic Ski Stadium.
