Just a short drive from Waitomo, you'll find the magnificent Marokopa Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the North Island. A brief, 10-minute walk downhill through lush native bush will bring you to the viewing platform, where you can feel the mist from the powerful 35-meter cascade. The track is well-maintained but can get a bit muddy after rain, so watch your step as you head towards the roar of the water.
