This is where local instructors go to teach beginners how to surf! The kitesurfing there is very good too.

It's also one of the spots where turtles nest in season, so some areas might have restricted access during that time.

Know before going:

• Turtles nest here between Nov–Mar, and hatchlings follow 6–9 weeks later

• No entry fee, but limited parking in peak season

• Wind picks up in the arvo, especially in summer

• Few shaded tables and a toilet on site
