You can swim with turtles year-round in Exmouth (there are even specific snorkelling tours for swimming with them), but if you’re visiting between November and March, you're in luck!

That's nesting/hatching season, and the best place to witness this is in the Jurabi Coastal Park, where the Turtle Centre is.

Know before going:

• Nov–Mar for nesting, hatchlings 6–9 weeks later

• Jurabi Turtle Centre gives up-to-date info on when and where to go

• Follow the turtle-watching code of conduct
