This is one of the few places in Western Australia where you can see the sun rise and set over the water!

We’ve been up there a few times and it never disappoints. You can even see the Mildura Wreck if the tide is low, and whales during their migration (bring binoculars!).

Know before going:

• Sealed road all the way, so no 4WD needed

• Free to go

• Great for whale spotting

• Parking fills up quick

• You can’t go inside the lighthouse

• Gets windy, so bring a jumper or windbreaker
