The Bungle Bungles are these wild, striped rock formations that look like giant beehives. They’re one of the most unique landscapes in Australia.
There are heaps of hikes and gorges to check out, not to mention the iconic rock formations. It's one of those places where you feel small in a good way!
You can drive there if you have a 4WD and at least 3 extra days (it's a ~5-hour-drive from Kununurra, one way).
There are two campgrounds in the park with basic facilities, but you have to be self-sufficient. There's also an entry fee to the park.
If you don't / can't drive there, there are full-day tours from Kununurra available, too. Like this one, that includes a scenic flight over the Bungle Bungles and hike to explore the area!
These are not cheap tours, but if you have the budget, definitely consider booking it! You won't regret it, it's a bucket-list thing to do in Australia, hands down.
