This is the orca tour we did which we recommend for:

Ocean lovers who want to observe Apex predators, Orca whales up close.

The boat took us to the feeding grounds of the orcas. We also saw a sperm whale, dolphins and lots of birds! It was amazing.

We loved that it's a small group by other operators' standards (50 people tops) so it didn't feel crowded. The crew was lovely too, they focussed on giving a luxury experience at an excellent price.

The boat also has areas inside to sit and rest and viewing decks all around the boat, so everybody can see the beautiful orcas!

You can check the availability here.

This tour is 7 hours long which was plenty of time.

NOTE: It is not a very comfortable tour for people who experience sea sickness.

The Southern Ocean is very choppy and the sea sickness can be rough (Bec was having a bit of a hard time because of it).

BUT if you can tolerate it, then you might prefer an 8-hour tour by the other provider like this one, although the group is a bit bigger.
