It's an easy-access spot right at the edge of Augusta, great for a quick dip, a walk along the water, or just chilling with a view.

It’s also a known spot for whale watching from shore in winter and spring (bring binoculars).

Why it’s worth checking out:

  • Calm water safe for the kids to swim

  • Good spot for a picnic or beach walk

  • Boat ramp and small playground nearby

  • Pet-friendly areas

Know before going:

  • Easy access with plenty of parking

  • No big facilities

  • Gets windy in the arvo
