Town Beach is the easiest beach to get to, right in town and 2WD accessible.

Often there are food trucks and other campers hanging out here for the day. People also kitesurf here!

We came here whenever we just wanted a quick swim or somewhere to relax before or after a meal in town.

The waters are very calm, great for small ones and kayaking. There is no snorkelling here, go to Turquoise Bay or even Bundegi Beach nearby instead for that.

And if you're in a 4WD, you can drive on the beach too!

Know before going:

• BBQs and usually a food or coffee van around

• Close to everything, walkable from accommodation in town

• Kiteboarding and sailing possible when the wind’s up

• Gets busy in the afternoons, especially if the wind is down

• Basic facilities
