This one is a local favourite (and ours, too)! Sheltered swimming, easy boat access, and heaps of space to spread out.

We’ve hung out here a few times and it’s always had a relaxed, family-friendly vibe.

Things to do there:

• Launch a boat, it’s a top spot if you’re bringing one

• Fishing off the jetty or shoreline

• Swimming, safe and calm for kids

• Go for a walk, there are coastal trails and good birdwatching

• Windsurf or paddle if conditions are right

Good to know:

• About 10 mins from Albany town centre

• BBQs, picnic tables, toilets and even a little shop on site

• Gets busy on weekends and school holidays, go early for parking

• Great spot if you're staying at the BIG4 Emu Point
