It's an excellent stop when driving along the Coral Coast, either to grab a pie or to spend the night. We were surprised by how much we liked it!

The beach is right in town, there’s a long jetty walk, and there's a colony of sea lions nearby (you can swim with them with a tour like this one!)

A lot of people go skydiving here, because the view is so pretty from above.

Good to know:

• Sea lion tours run in the morning

• About 2.5 hours from Perth

• Caravan parks and motels right by the beach

• Quiet during the week, but fills up in school holidays
