Cute country town in the heart of the forest

Pemberton is all about the forest, with massive trees (some that you can climb), beautiful hikes, and a natural swimming pool you can chill at.

It’s quieter than other South West towns, but that’s part of the charm. Great for walking, camping, and getting off the grid a bit!

Things to do:

  • Climb the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree (first 20 metres)

  • Check out Gloucester Tree (not for climbing at the moment)

  • Drive the Karri Forest Explorer scenic loop

  • Swim at the Pemberton pool

  • Walk the trails through Warren National Park

Good to know:

  • Great spot in spring for wildflower season

  • Very limited phone reception in the forests, download maps ahead

  • Bring mozzie spray for the dams and river spots
