One of the most famous hikes in the southwest!

About the hike:

  • 12.5km return

  • Allow 6-8 hours depending on your pace

  • Class 4, has steep sections, exposed ridgelines, slippery surfaces, and uneven terrain

  • Not suitable for small kids or wet/windy days

  • Epic views and wildflowers in season (spring)

  • Trail starts from the carpark at the end of Isthmus Hill Rd

Good to know:

  • Located in Torndirrup National Park, entry is $17 per vehicle last time we checked

  • No toilets or water, come prepared

  • Go early, it’s a full-day hike with no shade

  • Not a loop, it’s an out-and-back trail
