This is one of the more remote and dramatic gorges in Karijini, and it will blow your mind. It’s a bit of a scramble to get down, but it's so worth it! It's rugged and massive, you can feel the power of nature there.

Why it's worth checking out:

  • Short but adventurous hike with steep rock scrambling

  • Amazing lookout over the gorge before you descend

  • Cool rock formations and waterholes at the bottom

  • Less crowded than more popular gorges like Hancock or Weano

Know before going:

  • 2WD accessible with care, the gravel road in is usually okay but check conditions

  • The descent is steep and not signed so don't go if you're not confident in your abilities

  • Entry fees to Karijini National Park
