This place is home to one of WA’s most well-known left-hand reef breaks! It’s not for beginners, but if you’ve got the skills, don't skip it.

It's great to sit on the rocks and watch the surfers when the waves are up. There is often a little coffee van there in the morning as well.

If you're after some beginner-friendly surfing, head to the nearby Jake’s Bay for gentler conditions.

Know before going:

  • Not for beginners, sharp reef and powerful waves

  • Go early to avoid wind and crowds

  • Bring reef booties if you're paddling out

  • 2WD accessible, just a few minutes from town

  • No shade or facilities, so prep accordingly

  • If your surfing respect the locals. They can be very protective of their wave.
