This was Bec's favourite spot for beginner surf (fun) waves. Check conditions first of course!

The shallow water stretches way out, making it a top pick for families with little ones.

The sand’s squeaky white, and the waves are solid without being too intimidating.

What we liked:

• Great for families, shallow entry and soft sand

• Surf lessons in summer holidays

• Rock pools at the end of the beach for exploring

• 4WD access for a proper beach cruise

Good to know:

• Dogs allowed (on-lead at all times)

• Toilets available

• Watch for rips, they can catch people off guard

• Gets popular in summer, but still has a relaxed vibe
