Wave Rock is an incredible rock feature which has been around for billions of years!

It is a spiritually sacred site for Aboriginal People, you can see their ancient cave paintings nearby in Mulka's Cave.

Wave Rock is a convenient stop if you're road-tripping from Perth to Esperance or vice versa.

The rock is absolutely massive in person! There's a very short walk to the base, and if you're keen, you can climb up the back for better views.

Know before going:

  • There's an entry fee per vehicle, but it's free if you're staying in the caravan park

  • 45-60 mins is plenty

  • Don’t miss the nearby "Hippo’s Yawn"

  • Toilets, info boards, and a bit of shade for a chill break

  • There’s a cafe nearby if you want a snack and coffee
