This spot is way more scenic than it sounds. There are walking trails around the massive turbines, and panoramic views over the Southern Ocean.

Things to do there:

  • Whale watching (June to October), bring binoculars

  • Walk the clifftop trail, short or long loops available

  • Check out the wind turbines up close

Good to know:

  • About 15 mins from Albany town centre

  • Free to visit, open all year round

  • No toilets or shops, bring water and snacks

  • Coastal path is exposed, bring a jumper and hat that won’t fly away
