If you're not staying in Karijini NPpark, your next best choice is staying in Tom Price, a small mining town near Karijini.

It’s not a destination in itself, but it’s a solid spot to fuel up and restock. There’s a good caravan park and some local walks too.

However, this means that you'll have to pay the entry fee to Karijini NP every day you enter the park (the fees are per vehicle/per day).

So staying in Tom Price is not the most cost-effective thing to do, unless you have a holiday pass or a year pass.
