Great spot for hiking and for wildflower-spotting if you're visiting between late August and December.

Things to do there:

  • Do the 500m Stony Hill Heritage Trail, it's an easy loop with epic views

  • Spot wildflowers in season (Aug–Dec)

  • Head off on the longer walk to Peak Head (2.5 hrs return)

  • Watch for climbers on the cliffs near Peak Head

Good to know:

  • In Torndirrup National Park, entry is $17 per vehicle per day (at the time of writing)

  • No toilets at this spot

  • The trail to Peak Head includes some light rock scrambling

  • Access to Peak Head trail is just before the Stony Hill carpark (look for the track on the left)

  • Windy and exposed, bring layers and a hat that won’t fly away

  • Great add-on if you’re already visiting The Gap or Misery Beach
